Zachary Trent, DPM

Dr. Zachary Trent’s passion for podiatric medicine is deeply rooted in his family’s legacy, which began with his grandfather’s graduation from Scholl College in 1959. Following in his footsteps, Dr. Trent grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, surrounded by his podiatric surgeon uncle and two cousins. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Saint Xavier University before attending the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Science.

He completed a rigorous three-year surgical residency at Rush University Medical Center. He is board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in both forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Trent’s professional interests include sports medicine, treating ankle and foot sprains, tendon and ligament injuries, and fractures. He also specializes in the correction and management of adult and pediatric flatfoot deformities, using both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

He is affiliated with several hospitals and surgery centers, including Tristar Southern Hills Hospital, Williamson Medical Center, Brentwood Surgery Center, Cool Springs Surgery Center, and Lincoln Medical Center.
When he’s not working, Dr. Trent enjoys spending time with his wife, Krista, exploring Central Tennessee, cooking, and golfing.
